Diving
Allied Marine & Equipment has extensive experience in the diving industry and has undertaken projects in various countries both in the Middle East and extensively in Asia. The majority of our clients are oil majors and the others being international oil and gas contractors.
AME’s major diving resources consist of 4 complete air diving systems, 1 x 200 meter 6 man saturation complex and 1 x 200 meter 9 man saturation complex. Our systems are maintained under a planned maintenance program and operate in compliance with IMCA recommendations. The equipment undergoes a third party IMCA audit before each project to ensure compliance and functionality of the equipment. The Systems have full time technicians that maintain, service and improve the condition and set up of the equipment, all work and modifications are captured in the company’s Planned Maintenance System. AME’s vessels utilise the NS5 system designed by ABS for the efficient maintenance and monitoring of vessels.
AME have regular personnel that we engage for the projects but in the event these personnel are not available, we maintain a data bank with a large pool of qualified personnel from divers who are certified for saturation and air work involving inspection and construction to technicians and support personnel.
In our main office, we have a fully supported inspection department that has four personnel qualified as CSWIP 3.4U, three engineers and an IT executive. The main function of this department is to ensure the inspection side of the project is well covered and reports are produced to a standard acceptable to the client. For every project where our vessels are utilised, an inspection personnel will be onboard to record progress and ensure all documentation is in order.
