Allied Marine & Equipment Sdn Bhd, known to many as AME, was established in November 1988. We specialise in underwater diving services involving subsea inspection, repair, maintenance and light construction. We conducted this work using our own vessels, Saturation Systems, ROVs and Survey Company offering an almost single source company for underwater services.  AME conducts its business in accordance with strict practices, paying particular attention to safety.  The company obtained its ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 at the end of 2008 and diligently follow procedures and safe practices.  AME have been members of IMCA since 1996 and put incorporate the IMCA guidelines into our procedures.  Our senior managers are extremely experienced in underwater services and they are ably supported by a pool of dedicated personnel, engineers, marine personnel and a dynamic project management team, we approach each project similarly irrespective of the size of the project.  AME aspires to continually achieve excellence in this niche sector providing world class services at a reasonable cost.

In 2008, World Class Inspiration Sdn Bhd (WCI) which Mermaid Offshore Services Limited (Thailand) owns 25% equity, acquired 90% equity of AME, thus giving Mermaid 22% ownership of AME via their shareholding in WCI. Through this arrangement, AME has now strengthened its position in the region with the strategic sharing of resources with Mermaid Offshore Services through a Master Service Agreement. Our headquarter is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and our subsidiary companies, AME Marine Services Sdn Bhd and Maju Hydro Sdn Bhd are located in the same building.
